About
A North Battleford kid with a camera and a long way around.
I grew up in North Battleford. Left for a while, trained as a photographer at the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts, then came back. I photographed Sask Fashion Weekend, sporting events, and families I'd never met. Then I left again.
Saskatchewan was always home. My family is here. My people are here. It held a place in my heart the whole time I was gone. Now my family and I are setting roots and building a life in the Battlefords.
I became a photographer because I want to walk around my home when I'm old and look at all the beautiful places I've been and all the memories I've made.
Every shoot I do, even yours, is a memory I'll look back on.
My approach is collaborative. I'll guide you through the session and keep it relaxed. Serious and precise or loose and fun, that part is up to you. I read the room and work with what's there.
I take my work seriously and I don't cut corners. If you're looking for images that hold up in twenty years, let's talk.
Tell me what you've got in mind. I'll come back with a straight answer and a real number.
